According to the article, this new standard is almost ready to go and maybe we&#8217;ll see it on computers (aka Macs) pretty soon. It&#8217;ll be a waste on the hard drives I tend to buy or &#8220;build&#8221; since I can&#8217;t find any Serial ATA enclosures.
