Call me silly but I am a dude and as a kid I used to collect Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars. This model of Porsche has always been iconic for my brother and me too. Back in Illinois, Brian used to have the Matchbox version of it in turquoise. Then we saw them fairly frequently around Houston after moving there in 1982. I think it&#8217;s also the car Tom Cruise dropped into Lake Michigan in <\/span><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Risky Business<\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">We did a quick drive tearing ass up and down Parmer Lane for 10 minutes. Juan apologized for the traffic. It didn&#8217;t bother me, sitting in it was a victory. Now I understand what<\/span> <em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Consumer Reports<\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> and car buffs mean by &#8220;how&#8221; an automobile handles. When he turned a corner at a good clip, it felt similar to being in an airplane as it banks quickly, for a commercial flight.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Not a bad start for the turning 40 celebrations. I can now say I&#8217;ve been in a Porsche, a Prius and a Delorean.
