I think it&#8217;s pretty awesome because down here in Austin, bananas are 48 cents\/pound at HEB (46 at SuperTarget) and you know a chunk of the weight you&#8217;re paying for is the peel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">One great source will be Germany. An ex-friend once said the Germans eat their bodyweight annually in bananas. I&#8217;m not sure about Americans. I know I ate more as a kid.
